I make it a point to never use wood from trees that were taken down arbitrarily. One thing I treasure is my own trees we have left from the hurricanes that have come thru our state.

Some of the wood, has come as a result of immenent domain development while others I come across by taking drives with my wife just looking for downed trees in the countryside.

I first developed an interest in turning wood the first time I saw an episode of "Woodwright" turning a table leg, a show on public television. It was not long after that I built my own lathe, and began learning the art. I still have much to learn and hope to develop my talents into a large appreciation.

My artwork is an expression of me. Few other things allow me to express myself or give me the gratification that wood working and turning provides. Each piece is a totally unplanned work of art and I conceive my ideas from studying the piece of wood when I am ready to turn it.

I appreciate your time taken to visit my online shop, and any comment you would offer is welcome. I don't pretend to be among the world class artist yet, but I will continue pursuing it as it is a lifelong dream.

If you desire a custom made item I will entertain any design or concept you have in mind. I may not be able to produce it but I will certainly provide you with what my best efforts would be to produce it.

Thank you for visiting my website.
