PET CASKETS

I now offer hand made caskets for pets.

I designed one with simple elegance, featuring moldings to soften corners and lines. The lid is designed with traditional styling to give the overall look of the casket a very dignified appearance you would be proud to lay your pet in for it's final rest.

The wood is pine, which you save in material to gain the more traditional style casket while staying in the typical price range for this size.

For now I offer a casket suitable for all cats and small dogs measuring 20 inches from head to their hind quaters. For dogs this would be Dachsunds, Poodles, small Terriers and similar size breeds. The inside dimensions are 22" long x 10" wide x 6.5" high.

They come in 3 colors: Red Mahogany, Dark Walnut and Golden Oak.

The liner and pillow are included with the casket. The liner features a foldout drape with a lace trim that hangs the height of the casket and is folded into and over your pet when you seal the casket for burial. Double sided sealing foam tape is included with the casket for you to permanently seal the casket closed.

The outside is finished with several coats of Polyurethane, to protect the casket from the elements once it is committed to the ground. This finsih should last at least a year, but may last longer depending on the soil and climate conditions present. Since this casket is made of wood it is meant to be committed to the ground once and not be moved later. But again, depending on the conditions present in the soil and the climate you may be able to do this up to a year or more after it is committed.

The liner is satin material. The standard color is white. You may request a piink for female pets, and a sky blue for males if you prefer.
